:: Fun at the Farm ::

On Saturday the kids and I headed up Highway 1 to Half Moon Bay. One of my new friends from a women's Bible study I was part of invited our Bible study group up to the farm she lives and works at in Half Moon Bay called Potrero Nuevo Farm. Suzie blessed us with an amazing spread of farm grown food from fritatas, crisp salad and homemade lemon verbina tea. We were able to enjoy some amazing coffee cake and scones (courtesy of the Knepper sisters)... It was such a beautiful spread and a great start to our morning on the farm! After our amazing brunch, Suzie gave us a tour of the farm. Everywhere you looked the pure beauty of God's creation was evident. We started our tour with Suzie showing us all of the vegetables they grow on the farm. They have such a large variety, including onions, spinach, chard, pumpkins and even garlic.Suzie showing us how the onions grow...Analise and Ali became fast friends.Next we headed over to the chicken coop. Analise was so excited to see the chickens, and even more excited that she got to feed them. She even let one eat out of her hand (for about two seconds). She said, "The chicken tickled me!"The girls were able to see a freshly laid egg in the coop.As we continued our tour we passed the lovely herb garden...it was so pretty. We ended our time at the farm by getting up close and personal with some goats!Analise was brave enough to pet "Ronnie".The baby goats like to snuggle with Suzie! We had such a fantastic time! Big thanks to Suzie and Potrero Nuevo Farm for letting us come visit and play!

What a fun outing! My 2-year-old would absolutely love doing something like that. :)

I am way behind on your blog. You've had some fun things going on at your house.
This post is lovely. You took great pictures (as always!). What a fun outing!
North of SC on Hwy 1 is one of my favoritest spots ever.
