:: Pushing Two ::

October 31st is a special day in our family, not because it's Halloween, but because it is Jameson's Birthday! And Jameson really isn't into Halloween and dressing up as much as he is into playing with friends, cars, trucks, trains, bulldozers, excavators, and jumping and running around parks. So, what better way to celebrate turning two than spending the morning at the park with friends, a playground, and some trucks?

In order to help him feel unique and special aside from the Halloween hubbub, we decided to celebrate his birthday a few days early this year.

Here is the invitation that I made for his buddies: My lovely friend Ashley and her little one (Jameson's favorite girl buddy) Annike, met us at the park a tad bit early so I could get things set up. Instantly the three kiddos had their shoes were off and were ready for serious fun!
Within minutes they were conquering the playground as they waited for the others to arrive.

In the few minutes it took the three of them to cover every inch of the playground, I set up the party table with cupcakes, favors, and dump trucks that carried goldfish crackers, mini raisin boxes and drinks.
Everything was ready for the arrival of his friends...
And there were lots of friends!!
This little man was *beyond* excited to celebrate with his buddies!
Cupcake time!
He smiled the entire time everyone sang to him!

Once he had his cupcake in hand, he was a bit hesitant to dive right in. He gave it a little taste before deciding his cupcake was worth eating.
His sister on the other hand...well...she had eaten her entire cupcake before he even finished testing the icing!

We had such a great time celebrating this little man! The past two years have been an amazing, wild, fun-filled ride!
