Today's Round Up : Cozy Cookin' made Easy
When the weather takes a turn and the air finally gets an autumn chill to it I crave cozy food. Food that fills the house with amazing aromas and explodes on your palette. And what says cozy food more than chicken, bacon and cream cheese together in the same dish? Not much. This is a cozy, delicious and EASY dinner to put together.
Bacon Wrapped Chicken
* 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
* 1 8 oz. carton of cream cheese (either chive & onion, *or make your own garlic & herb like I do*)
* bacon (2 slices per chicken breast)
* salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray baking pan. Butterfly chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Spread 2 -3 tablespoons of cream cheese over each chicken piece. Roll up chicken and wrap with two strips of bacon. Place seam side down. Bake for 35 minutes or until juices run clear. Broil six inches from heat for 3-5 minutes until bacon is crispy. ENJOY!
