:: Party Time ::

First birthday parties can be so fun! This year, in honor of Jameson's first birthday we had a costume party. It just so happens that his birthday falls on Halloween so it was a perfect excuse to dress up for his birthday! It was such a treat to see all of the kiddos dressed up and having a great time together.

We had pumpkins, cupcakes, and fun favors.Analise has been looking forward to dressing up for weeks. She decided she wanted to be a cowgirl...which naturally meant that Jameson should dress up as a horse...a pretty good looking horse if you ask me!Everywhere we looked there were some pretty amazing little people in great costumes. There was a sweet little frog...a beautiful ballerina... and even a super cool ROCKET!I stumbled upon a brown bear (this bear can sneak up on me anytime!)Somehow a mermaid, a fireman, an army man and a little Santa's helper eluded my camera, but I was able to find a pretty princess...the cutest little Chippewa... and the best looking gnome I ever did see!The older kids were able to decorate their own cupcakes (with lots of nibbling too). We headed outside to try and get a group photo, which was pure comedy in itself! Attempting to get 12 little people to pose for a picture is near impossible, however it did make for some good laughs. Here is the most complete version...We tried to get Jameson to celebrate with his first taste of cake, however he was far from interested in it...he just kept eyeing the trampoline.We had a great day celebrating the life of our little man!

Absolutely adorable! I love Analise's boots!

And that little frog has the sweetest face.

And, of course, you have a very handsome horse there too. ;)
