The 'chicken show' is such a fun treat for the kids. It is about two minutes long and consists of chickens singing in chicken voices and dancing along to a swing tune (which you can hear in the video below).
Put your money in the machine and out pop your eggs...
...and the curtain goes up...
Depending upon when you visit, the chickens are in proper seasonal attire. Here are some Independence Day costumes...(pardon the glare...very reflective window)

We went the other day and now they are decked out for summer fun...
You can get a sample from this little cell phone video
(seeing it in person is much better :-)
We love summer and we love Glaum Egg Ranch!

That looks SO fun! Love it!
We go nearly every week. We love it. Gillian was SO happy with the beach wear.
Maybe we'll see you there sometime.
We totally need to do that! Right now I'm buying my Glaum eggs at Shopper's for $2.59/dozen. Directly from the source is a deal, and you know how much I love deals!
that is so funny, but looks like a ton of fun!!
That is the coolest thing ever! The closest I've ever come to an egg vending machine was back in the day at the local Five and Dime Store...there was a machine with Fred Flintstone inside. For a quarter, he'd turn around and say "Yabba Dabba Doo! Yabba Dabba Doo!" and a plastic egg with some cheesey toy would pop out. Dancing chickens are waaaaay cooler!
Too funny! we go there every week or two and Jack and Emma love it too. such a fun thing to have around.
I think I need to redo my childhood for that reason.
I'm totally jealous of the chicken show machine.
What a fun memory and an awesome memory for your kiddos!
