:: Fish, Fish, Fish ::

I often tell Markus he is "phase boy". He has a tendency to go through phases of LOVING things. First it was surfing, then golf, then poker. Now it is fishing. I think fishing is here to stay though. He went fly fishing in Kings Canyon with Ryan a few times last fall and he has been hooked ever since. He ties his own flies, he reads about fishing, he even dreams about fishing...no joke.

Since it is not really feasible to go fly fishing at this time of year here, he has been steelhead fishing in the Soquel Creek. He has been four or five times now. They can only fish on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. He went out yesterday by himself for a few hours in the afternoon and caught his first steelhead! He had hooked two before, but the fish were stronger and faster than Markus' line was, but not yesterday! He is one proud fisherman!
