:: Trains ::

I am not sure how it happened, but Analise loves Thomas the Train and his Friends. We bought her Thomas and Toby a long time ago and have slowly been adding to her collection here and there and for special occasions. Analise and Jameson had about six trains between them, but no tracks. I went on eBay and found a small set of tracks and 7 new trains for a great price! Jameson woke up from his nap first so he got the first look at the new set up. I think he approved!Each train has his/her own name...perhaps that is one of the main things that makes them so special.The kiddos have spent quite a bit of time in the past few days playing with the tracks and trains - it is so fun to watch them play together!Our new set of tracks came with a tunnel... and a train stop...We even got a caboose!This morning I stumbled upon this scene (with Analise sitting in a chair behind to the line up). I asked her what was going on and she said, "Toby is telling us a story!" She has a great imagination!

Thomas Trains are an absolute favorite in our home as well. Tori loves to role play with them while Siah drives them around and makes loud train noises. The creators were brilliant to give them names and personalities.

ok, you guys are so coming over here..they will all be in train heaven (warning about jack henry's inability to share these days though. but i am encouraging play dates b/c he really needs to know how the world works or else he will never have friends. just sorry in advance). that is the cutest thing to see them playing together like that. your kids are so beautiful, nini! i mean really beautiful! you want to come over thurs. morning this week?

So awesome! I got a great set off of craigslist. Emma's version of playing trains with Jack usually involves her picking up all the track so he prefers to play alone :)
Call me if there is a morning this week that you'd be up for getting the kids together. We miss seeing you guys!

How fun that they're playing together now! I can't wait until my girls interact more like that. They're very sweet and playful even now, but it's not quite the same since my littlest is only 6 months old... :)
